Regarding recent media reports

With regard to reports circulating in social and mass media that Korea Development Bank (Republic of Korea) intends to sell its shares in KDB Bank Uzbekistan JSC, we would like to declare the following.

KDB Bank Uzbekistan JSC confirms that Korea Development Bank periodically conducts an overall strategic review of its overseas branches and subsidiaries, including KDB Bank Uzbekistan JSC.

There is no decision made by Korea Development Bank regarding the sale of ownership interest in its Uzbek subsidiary.

KDB Bank Uzbekistan JSC remains one of the key overseas subsidiaries of Korea Development Bank. The bank continues to operate with the ongoing support of Korea Development Bank and remains fully committed to providing reliable, high-quality financial services to customers by contributing to the development of Uzbekistan’s financial sector.
