KDB Bank Uzbekistan offers credit products in Local currency (UZS) and US dollars (USD) to corporates that are the residents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Bank provides USD-denominated loans mainly at the expense of funds attracted from foreign financial institutions (e.g. KDB Seoul).

Eligibility Requirements
The Bank does not grant any loan to the companies that have suffered loss for the recent 2 (two) financial years consecutively and have weak financial state.

Procedure on step-by-step collateral releasing proportional to repaid credit facility amount or its replacing The client or owner of collateral object (Pledgor) is entitled to apply for step-by-step collateral release proportional to repaid credit facility amount (maintaining enough coverage ratio) or replace collateral object (still keeping sufficient coverage ratio) to the Bank (Pledgee).
Review of such application by the Bank should not take more than 30 (thirty) days.
Decision on step-by-step collateral release or replace will be made by Credit Committee and the client must be informed on the decision in writing within 3 (three) business days. In case of negative decision, valid reason also should be included.
Revision of Loan Terms in Exceptional Circumstances
Pursuant to the Regulation “On Minimum Requirements for the Activities of Commercial Banks in Interacting with Consumers of Banking Services” (registered by the Ministry of Justice on 2 July 2018 under No. 3030):
The Bank may, in the prescribed manner, review the terms of existing credit agreements of consumers (clients) who are experiencing difficulties in making timely credit payments due to financial hardship, difficult life circumstances, or force majeure events. In this case, such contractual terms as extension of the loan repayment period, revision of the loan interest rate, and reduction of penalties accrued due to overdue loan payments may be reviewed.
The following circumstances shall constitute grounds for reviewing the terms of an existing credit agreement:
An application submitted by the consumer in connection with the occurrence of the above-mentioned circumstances, requesting revision of contractual terms such as extension of the loan repayment period, revision of the loan interest rate, and reduction of penalties accrued due to overdue payments, shall be reviewed by the Bank within a period not exceeding 30 days.
The application shall be accompanied by documents confirming the occurrence of the above-mentioned circumstances (death certificate, order on termination of the employment contract, medical certificate, as well as a certificate issued by an authorized state body confirming force majeure events that occurred within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan). Based on these documents and other data sources, the Bank’s responsible divisions shall analyze whether the consumer (client) actually has or does not have the ability to repay the loan, using this as the main criterion, and shall submit a report on the results of the analysis to the Credit Committee.
The consumer (client) shall be notified of the decision adopted by the Credit Committee within 3 (three) business days. If the application is approved, relevant amendments and supplements shall be made to the credit agreement and its appendices by mutual agreement of the parties. If the application is rejected, the consumer (client) shall be informed of the reasons for the refusal.
In addition, the issue of extending the repayment period of existing loans of women who were unable to make timely payments due to maternity and childbirth leave may be considered for up to ten months, upon their application, in accordance with the procedure specified above.
